Uneventful Events

This week has been pretty uneventful. If it weren't for the "how are you feeling?" questions from family members, I might forget that I'm pregnant. I'm feeling a little nausea but not much to even complain about, very thirsty, a bit more tired at night and my body is asking for more calories. I'm still exercising every morning before work and feel great. I haven't gained any weight yet, but the book/internet info says that's about to start this week. Oh, joy!

Baby T is an inch and a half and has been good to me... so far.

Baby's First Gift

We received our first baby gift this week. It was a sweet and thoughtful gift from Ellen Mooney, a die hard Seminole fan. Naturally, Ben loves them. I think we need a set of Seminole booties so we can take the baby home from the hospital in one Gator booty and one Seminole booty. House divided!

Telling the Rents!

Bev Tompkins was the first one in the know. Ben and I broke the news to her at dinner on Thursday night (April 2nd). In true Bev fashion, she teared up. My mom, Mary Lou Baglia, and Ellen Mooney had been planning a trip up the weekend of April 4th. We were planning an outing on the boat on Saturday with Rod & Rhonda Tompkins so we held the news until we were all together.

My mom was so excited and told the good news to complete strangers at the restaurant.
It's true - no matter how old you get, they can still embarrass you.

My dad, Dave, said the news made his week and when I talk to him he sounds giddy like a school girl on the phone. I have a feeling Grandpa Baglia is going to spoil this kid rotten.

There's no surprising Grandma Shelle - how does she do it? I told her I had good news, but you could tell she knew. What, what's the good news? I'm pregnant! Oh, congratulations!
